Affirm it into existence. Create your life that you want to truly live with focused intention.
Do you find yourself repetitively thinking or saying things like, “I’ll never be happy or live in peace…” or “I can’t ever shut my thoughts off or create relaxation for myself ….” or “things never work out the way I want them too in my life….?”
If so, and if you continue to say or think things like that, then you may be right…you may never experience true peace or happiness & things may continue to never work out for you…
Because what you’re doing is you’re actually affirming & creating this very reality into existence with every word you speak & every thought you think.
There is hope though! Through using certain mindfulness techniques, you can change your life and start living in a way where things are working out for you; where you do experience a sense of happiness & peace.
Two powerful techniques you can use to make that happen—
1)Positive affirmations
2)Focused intentions.
So keep reading to learn more about why these mindfulness techniques work so well….
“Every thought you think is an affirmation. Every word you speak is an affirmation.”
When you repeat something over and over, whether you’re saying it aloud or in your head, you give it energy, which brings it to life. Remember the saying, “your thoughts create your reality?” When you say things like you’ll never be happy or experience peace, you’re actually affirming that into existence & creating your reality to be that way.
So if you want to experience more happiness & peace, then it’s important to start managing your mind. Doing this means you start living on purpose — you become more aware, you choose your thoughts, & you choose where your attention & focus goes.
Speak It Into Existence & Create Your Life
I often times hear people say they don’t like affirmations because they don’t work or don’t believe in them. Yet what some people don’t quite understand is that any thought (whether expressed aloud or in our heads) is an affirmation.
Whether you want to affirm a positive thought or a negative one into existence….that’s your choice. Either way, what you speak into existence IS an affirmation. And what you put into life is usually what you get back.
You can create the life you feel you deserve by first changing your point of focus.
One way is through speaking more positive affirmations into existence. Some examples that you can use include—
“I am worthy of happiness & peace.”
“Things are working out exactly as they should.”
“I trust in the process.”
It may feel silly at first. Or you may even think it seems overly simplistic. Still, I encourage you to give it a try. Start looking for what you want out of life. Do this, and you’d be amazed to see how your life can turn out..
Be Intentional
Once you’ve gotten yourself to start affirming your greatness into existence, now you want to set focused intentions behind it. Because you’re going to need more than just speaking affirmations aloud in order to make permanent life changes & to truly create the life you want.
Without a plan, you’re setting yourself up for failure. That’s why you want to be intentional about the life you live. Intentions begin the process of creation. They are seed you plant in your mind that with patience and aligned action, allow your best life to come true for you.
When creating your intentions, ask yourself, “How do I want to feel?” Be clear & meaningful. Use the present tense, “I intend to…” or “My intention today is…”
Some examples of intention statements—
I intend to reach a new level of health, fitness, and overall wellbeing.
My intention is to create new relationships with like-minded people who influence my life in a positive way.
I intend to choose to set clear boundaries, honoring my Universal Truth.
I intend to live authentically in the present, allowing myself to experience each moment of Joy.
I intend to create my life, filling it with Abundance, Light and Joy.
I intend to listen to my Inner Voice.
I intend to communicate my needs and desires clearly and gently.
I intend to feel valued for who I am.
If you would like to learn more about what setting intentions look like, I recorded an episode on my new podcast series– Zen Talks where I share a personal experience I had showing how I used intention setting to create the day i felt I deserved. I also share other insights on how you can use intentions to do the same. Check it out–
