I’ve been reflecting on the events that have been taking place in the world lately, and it just seems like a lot of chaos. There’s so much darkness/deception/control/division at play right now… and I imagine you can agree.
You can probably even feel in it your body that something doesn’t feel right. And if so, please don’t discredit that feeling…because one) you’re not alone in feeling the way you do & two) that inner feeling you’re having is YOUR superpower!
That inner gut feeling or otherwise known as, “intuition,” is the truth that helps guide us towards our highest divinity. And it’s something we all may want to consider connecting to at an even deeper level, especially now more than ever.
What Is Intuition?
Intuition is that inner “gut” feeling of “knowing” in our bodies that gently guides us away or toward something. It tells us when something is “off,” when to hold back & be patient, & when to seek out more information. This feeling is subtle & often times there isn’t any clear logic or reason to immediately support it. Intuition is a deep innate sensation, a sensory experience. It’s a inner sense of knowing, without needing to necessarily know why.
The inner intuitive voice arises from within our body and is what speaks to us FIRST. It’s only after our body speaks though, that our mind comes in to try and sow seeds of doubt. It’s our mind, the SECOND voice, that we often give our attention & power too. Don’t confuse this voice with the truth. The mind, or “our second voice,” is what keeps so many of us blocked. It’s what convinces us to believe that maybe we’re just overreacting or over analyzing. It’s that voice that tells us, maybe our dreams or visions are too big, or it’s just all in our head.
Connecting To Your Intuition
To connect to the wisdom within, silence is necessary so that you can be able to differentiate between the chatter of the mind or the voice of the intuition. Try listening to what speaks to you FIRST. Listen to the messages of your BODY. Get STILL enough to HEAR your inner voice & really LISTEN to it.
Intuition is subtle, & not always easy to hear. And so if you’re looking to connect to yourself deeper, ofcourse, this takes practice (meditation is an excellent practice to take on). The more you practice connecting to your intuition, the stronger it becomes. Aside from meditation practices, also consider doing regular self check-ins & asking yourself, every so often, “what is my intuition telling me?”

Every person on the planet has intuition but not every person chooses to listen to it. And while there are several different reasons as to why someone would choose not to listen to their gut feeling, one major reason can be due to not being taught how. And if we aren’t taught how to connect back to ourselves, so that we can learn to trust ourselves, we become skeptical to the inner voice & discount it of having any true value.
